What a session plan actually gives you

Programs on this page are built around one discipline at a time, so a coach or a parent can see the whole week before committing to it. Each plan lists the blocks in order, the intensity, and the single coaching point worth repeating. Nothing assumes a five-day schedule or a full squad.

If you want to see how a full week is assembled before adapting it, start with the planning process, or write to us at team@coachedbyfrankie.com.

How the session plans reach you

The session plans on this page are published for you to read and adapt to your own training week. Choose a format and use the examples as a starting point with your club coach. The contact form records questions; it does not book personalized coaching or automatically create a training plan.

  1. Write to us with the basics

Send the discipline, the age group and how many days a week the squad can train. Two or three lines are enough. If you are a family rather than a club, say so and mention the player's schedule after school or work.

  2. We suggest a format

Based on what you send, we point you to the plan that fits: a three-day youth week, a recreational adult block, or a lighter routine around a single weekly match. You get a short written outline before anything is built.

  3. You receive the sessions

Each session lists duration, intensity and the one coaching point to reinforce. Exercises are written step by step, with the common error to watch for. Recovery, mobility and everyday food notes come alongside, not as separate homework.

  4. Run the first week

Take the plan to training and note what ran long, what was cut and where players lost the main idea. Uneven pitches and short evenings are normal — the plan is built to be trimmed, not followed to the minute.

  5. Adjust for the next block

Send back your notes and we reshape the following weeks: more small-sided games, less conditioning, a different recovery day. The plan moves with your calendar, including local tournament dates.

If you want to see how a full week is laid out before writing, start with the planning process. When you are ready to send your category and schedule, use the contact page.
