Who We Work With

Coached by Frankie is an editorial and training-support project, and the people we build it with are the ones who show up on the pitch every week: families, neighborhood coaches and amateur players. When we name a partner, it is because we have worked alongside them, not because a logo looked good on a page.

Formative club coaches

We sit down with coaches from neighborhood and formative clubs to record how they actually run categories, handle late developers and manage small staffs. Their sessions and constraints shape the plans we publish.

Youth squads and their families

Parents and players who train after school and play on weekends test the weekly plans before they go out. If a block does not survive homework, travel and a normal family evening, we rewrite it.

Session planning, under-14 and up

Adult recreational teams

Amateur sides that train once or twice a week keep us honest about recovery, mobility and everyday food notes. Their weeks look nothing like a professional calendar, and the material has to match.

Recreational football, weekday training

Partnerships are listed here only when they are confirmed. We do not publish logos, endorsements or ratings we cannot stand behind.

What makes the material worth your time

Quality here is not a seal on a certificate. It is whether a session plan survives a Tuesday evening when a player gets home late from school, and whether a recovery note can be read in five minutes without a specialist degree. Every column, plan and interview on this site is written to be used the same week it is published.

Written from the pitch, not the podium

Session plans by discipline list duration, intensity and the one coaching point that matters, with step-by-step exercises and simple tables a coach can copy onto a notebook. Match-analysis columns work from real cases and local tournament calendars, so the cues match the uneven pitches and fast tempo of weekend league football in Buenos Aires.

Honest about what we do not claim

Recovery, mobility and everyday food notes stay practical and free of clinical claims, and interviews with neighborhood and formative-club coaches stay journalistic rather than promotional. Recommendations are adapted to youth categories and adult recreational players. No professional-level promises, no invented results.

If you want to see how a plan is built before you try it, start with the weekly session layout for under-14 squads, then write to us with the questions it leaves open.
