Why it exists
Coached by Frankie is led by Frankie and works as an editorial and sports-support project rather than a coaching academy. It grew out of a simple problem: families, coaches and amateur athletes in Buenos Aires keep looking for guidance that fits a real week, with school, work and neighborhood pitches in the picture. Most material available online is written for professional setups, so it rarely survives contact with a Tuesday evening session or a Saturday morning match.
What gets published
The work moves through a few recurring formats. Match-analysis columns look at how a game is structured beyond the result. Session plans are organized by discipline and by category, from youth teams to adult recreational players. Alongside those, there are notes on recovery, mobility and everyday food, and interviews with coaches from neighborhood and formative clubs who work with small staffs and limited resources.
How we work
The approach stays journalistic and close to the ground. Cases come from local leagues and tournament calendars, exercises are explained step by step, and recommendations are written for youth categories and adult recreational players rather than for elite performance. The editorial direction is a modern sports newspaper: night blue, pitch green and bone white, condensed headlines, documentary training photography and simple session tables.
