What readers keep coming back to

If you arrived here from the clients page, you probably already know which group you belong to. These are the pieces that answer the questions families, coaches and amateur players ask most often, written from the same ground-level view as the rest of the project.

Reading a Match Without the Scoreboard

How the back line shifts when the ball travels wide, where the midfield leaves gaps, and which pressing triggers actually force a mistake. Useful for parents who want to talk about decisions after the final whistle instead of the result.

A Weekly Session Plan for Under-14 Squads

Three evenings of technical work, small-sided games and light conditioning, plus a recovery day before Saturday. Each block lists duration, intensity and the one coaching point to reinforce, and it says what to cut when the session runs short.

All columns and session notes

Recovery, mobility, everyday food and interviews with neighborhood club coaches sit alongside the match analysis. Browse the full archive if you want to follow a topic across several weeks rather than read a single piece.

What this page does and does not claim

The reader groups described here are the ones Coached by Frankie is written for. Nothing on this page is a client roster, a partner list or a promise of results. Families, coaches, amateur players and formative clubs appear as audiences the editorial work addresses, not as named accounts.

Reader groups, not customers
When we say families, coaches or recreational players, we mean the people the columns, session plans and interviews are written for. No enrollment, membership or service agreement is implied by appearing in that description.
Quotes and cases stay anonymous
Coaches interviewed from neighborhood and formative clubs speak in their own words, and we do not publish names, clubs or identifying details unless the person agrees to it beforehand. Any match or training example is presented as a scenario, not as proof of a specific outcome.
Editorial guidance, not individualized professional advice
Notes on sleep, recovery, mobility and everyday food are general training guidance for youth categories and adult recreational players. They are not assessment, treatment or clinical recommendations, and they do not replace a doctor, physiotherapist or licensed professional who knows the player.
No performance guarantees
Session plans and routines are built to fit a normal week with school, work and family commitments. Following them does not guarantee selection, minutes on the pitch, faster recovery or any measurable improvement.
